Rockwell Automation
keeps, worldwide, a series of relationship/partnership programs with
system integrators which casually or frequently make use of the
company’s hardware and software products in their applications.
System integrators
may apply for one of three different partner categories: Developer,
RASI (Rockwell Automation System Integrator) or Solution Provider.
The most demanding is
the Solution Provider category. In order to participate in the
program the interested company must fulfill a series of
requirements. The main ones are the formal demonstration of
competence in the applications using Rockwell products; the
maintenance of the professional staff, constantly updated with new
technologies and Rockwell products; financial stature and healthy
business and commercial practice, and also to demonstrate capacity
to supply appropriate, world class technical support, for the
system’s final users. The companies participating in this program
are annually audited, in order to prove the fulfillment of the
requirements. All this care is taken by Rockwell because, among
other reasons, the companies qualified as Solution Provider (SP),
may use RA logos in their publicity and marketing documents – and
Rockwell is extremely cautious with the correct use of its image.
Another important
characteristic of the SP program is that the companies are rated
inside their area of expertise. These companies, for instance, may
be SP for the paper sector, or oil & gas, or any other sector in
which it is proven their expertise by their built applications and
which had proven to operate in a satisfactory way.
Authomathika is an SP
company since 2007, and is the first and only world’s company to
gain this certification for the sugar and ethanol sector, and had
this certification renewed recently for the year of 2008.
