Define the required restart condition
Separate maintenance, inspection, calibration, replacement and engineering changes. Give every workstream an owner and a completion criterion.
Prioritise equipment condition, process impact and dependencies. The length of the off-season alone does not establish execution capacity.
Prepare materials and interfaces
Check parts, instruments, drawings, access resources and suppliers. Shared teams and work areas must appear in an integrated schedule.
Define scope boundaries and release conditions for each activity. The plant coordinates its site-specific safety requirements and work authorisations.
Plan restart with maintenance
Agree post-intervention tests, equipment return sequences and acceptance responsibilities. Include configuration, signal checks and operational support where required.
Collect service records, contracted calibration certificates, modified drawings and outstanding items. Completion needs an acceptance record.
Information for a service proposal
Share equipment lists, available history, location, shutdown window and expected deliverables. Identify resources supplied by the mill.
